In 1963, Fire Station 18 was founded at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Moncrief Road in Jacksonville, Florida. That corner gave Myrtle & Moncrief Clothing Company its name. You don’t have to know your way around Jacksonville to know what a firehouse means to a neighborhood. Across the country, it’s where people show up for one another, whatever the hour. The bold 1963 lettering is our nod to that tradition.
